I soon saw more of these Balinese ceremonies. The wedding, the ceremony of the child’s completion of 3 months, then 18 months, meetings in the temples. They were always accompanied by gong music and a ritual Balinese dance.

But let’s go back to Pemuteran. I mentioned earlier about temples. Here is full of them. Almost near every property, at every house. From the tiny to this largest, true northern pearl Bali Pura Pulaki with ubiquitous monkeys.

In truth Pemuteran has one main road. On one its side are the mountains, on the other the sea. Between them a small flat piece of land torn from nature, on which grew human headquarters, several medium-sized resorts, small restaurants, several shops and more than 25 diving centers.

Pemuteran is a small village away from the tourist bustle in the northwest of Bali. A beautiful, black, sandy beach dotted with a few small resorts, restaurants and diving centers. This is my place on earth.
