"Orchha is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, surprising with its medieval atmosphere on the banks of the Betwa River.
It makes an impression as if time has stopped here. And all this thanks to the fact that its numerous monuments, dating back to the sixteenth century, have retained their original appearance to this day. Here are some of the most fascinating forts, temples and palaces that help realize the child’s fantasy – traveling in time! Attractions such as Rai Parveen Mahal, the temple of Lakshmi Narayan, Jahangir Mahal, the temple of Ram Raja, Raj Mahal and Phool Bagh are worth a visit. Not to mention world-class murals. More history are here for every square meter than in other famous places in India.”
