On the road from Nairobi to Mombasa

On the way from Nairobi to Mombasa, there are the most beautiful national parks of Kenya.

These include Tsavo Wschodnie and Tsavo Zachodnie, which form the oldest and largest reserve in Kenya (over 21,000 km2). The most extensive of the areas under strict protection of animals in the world.

The landscape of the National Park are impressive spaces with savannas, huge baobabs and small lakes connected by cascades, in which crocodiles and hippos live.

The landscape is also composed of steep mountain ranges and lands with lava, filled with stones and gravel.

Tsavo is the homeland of the antelope, giraffes, lions and cheetahs. There is also a sanctuary of rhinos, protected from poachers and herds of beautiful black rhinoceroses.

The eastern part of the Tsavo Park covers thick bush, volcanic cones and fancifully shaped mountain peaks.

The Galana River flowing through the Park provides water for life in this dry region. It is home to some of the largest herds of elephants in Kenya.

The sight of the „red elephant” rolling and sprinkling each other with blue waters shaded by palm trees is one of the most suggestive images in Africa. Animals owe their name to brick-colored clay found on the bottoms of rivers and sources in which they cool down.

Tsavo is also a good place to get to know birds (500 registered species), because the terrains are on the hiking trail of winged travelers.

Safari in Tsavo is a guarantee of complete relaxation and contact with animals in their wild and natural environment.
